no worries on the thread hijack...i know you meant well!!

The 4-Cell testing has started!.....did a few shake-down runs today to see how the ESC would handle it.....so far so good...i did strip the spur gear on the second pass....so no speed readings were taken...new gearing for the 4s1p will start at 43p/75s ....results to come!!!

Received my Bushnell Radar gun today .....i will be using the gun as the new measuring device as the GPS is damaged pretty heavily....dont know how much more it can take....lol...

New body came today.....shes all painted and ready for some runs this weekend....hope to see some new speed on the 4s1p setup now!


....as for the balancing...most foams i use are VERY well balanced to begin with...but you can true them...and for rubber tires....some use a prop balancer....gotta get creative!

New best today testing the new body on 4s....108mph!

This was with 75s/43p gearing...

...the sun was going down so it was the only pass i did....more to come!!

Hey, question: is is possible to have a car that is too light? My car is beginning to flip at high speeds now.Should I be using a belly pan with an air splitter up front?

how high is high speeds?....usually there is no weight necessary to hold the car down...its all in aerodynamic tuning....

I am using a f103gt as my car,and there is not much travel in the fron susp.Does this matter?
