Long rumored, occasionally seen at trade shows, Castle’s elusive 1/8th scale Mamba Monster Brushless ESC is finally available to the public. Castle has used all of their tricks to deliver stunning power for monster trucks and 1/8th buggy conversions.

The Mamba Monster handles up to 6S LIPO input (25.2 Volts MAX). They have hit 60 mph with RC vehicles that have absolutely no business doing 60 mph and they were doing it in a 20 mph zone!

Winning is simple...
1. You need to be a registered member of RCCars.com.
2. You need to make a post in this thread explaining what you would do with this prize.
3. You need to cross your fingers and check back often!

A winner will be drawn randomly using a number generator.
The winner will be choosen 2 weeks from this posting - Monday - March the 9th, 2009

wow, another great prize!

how cool would it be to convert an 1/8th scale gas onroad to electric?
i saw one of these the other day and OMG was it fast.. and of course i fell in love and want one!

so that is exactly what i would do with it..
i would use it to power an 1/8th scale onroad conversion..

that would be sweet..

We have a Losi 8 and 8T that are E powerd and running the stock Mamba Max. Would love to be able to Volt up with the "BIG one!"

Hi All,

Great feature of this forum.
I am always interested with electric rc trucks, mamba is the best conversion for 1/8th trucks.
If i got one of this i will put it in my revo. i always wanted to convert my revo to electric.
more power to rccars and mamba.

I've been racing 1/10th scale since I was a kid and my local track has a very small following of 1/10th scale racers. I've been thinking about trying to get an 1/8th scale brushless class started and this would be the perfect reason to. There is also no one running brushless at this track since most people run 1/8 scale buggies or truggies, so this would give me the opportunity to put my new Lipos to the test and prove to all the naysayers that an 1/8 scale buggy can compete with the gas guys on the performance level and fun factor.

What a great prize!!!
I would definitely convert my losi 8B as no-one runs electric at our track and I would love to see the look on there respective faces as I blast past them at half throttle, while they are still trying to get the perfect tune!!!
Clean, green, flying machine.
Just the project I have been considering for a while....

Then, I'm hooking myself up to a solar panel helmet and my old TRON outfit for "visual safety"....
(my wife propmtly told me she'd leave me at that point) I'd beter stop there....
