I have a Losi Night Crawler 1/10 scale. I want to put more weight on the front end so it wont tip backwards so much. I have bead lock tires on the crawler. Are BB's the best way to go ,or is there another way??? Thanks!!!

Good question. I know they offer weights that replace the standard bead locks, and also weights that go inside the tires.
I bet BB's would work though... Anyone have any real world incite? |

BB’s sound like a good solution. I say try it out and let us know.
I have added lead (fishing weights) to the front before and that worked. Mark B |

Well, I pulled the foam out of the front tires and put about 8 oz of BB's in each tire. The result is bad, to much weight on the front. It has lost the ability to crawl up the wall for sure and it labors on turns. Anyway, I am going to put the foam back and look for another option.

Need to leave some of the foam in!! Then fill the rest w BBs. Cut half the foam off them try. My friend puts lead shot in his real crawler tires!Ive seen it done on a Losi & it worked beutiful!....Good luck.

Inside of the tire or on the inner part of the wheel?

bb's work well i did what sleepy said my axal ended up weighing total 8 lbs and would crawl most anything with half the foam the tire would conform to the rocks better and had the weight to hold it there .
cons : makes tire no good for any type of speed . noisy . |
