GUYS, PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE RACE FORMAT FOR TRUGGY NEW YEAR'S RACE 2013:
RACE FORMAT 1.1 QUALIFYING 1.1.1 There will be three (3) rounds of qualifying heats. 1.1.2 First round starting order will be by draw. The next round will be as per first round result and so forth. 1.1.3 Qualifying scores will be the best laps and times from the three (3) rounds. 2.1 FINALS 2.1.1 One (1) round of final mains. 2.1.2 The mass grid starting order will be determined by the qualifying rounds scores. 2.1.3 Finishing order, lap and times will determine the finals result. 2.1.4 The 3 (three) fastest drivers (MOST NUMBER OF LAPS) will be awarded as the winners, 1st, 2nd, 3rd places respectively. 3.1 RACE DURATION 3.1.1 Qualifying/heats - 7 minutes, plus time to finish the last lap. 3.1.2 Finals/mains – 45 minutes, plus time to finish the last lap. |

Thanks Adrian for putting in written this race format. At least it is clear.
In complement, I guess it is never useless to remind some basic rules during briefing : Before qualifying : Safety briefing - Marshals Safety Drivers to not accelerate when up side down to allow marchals to turn back the car Drivers to low speed when a marchal is under action in front Marchals to pay special attention before crossing the track Pitting ramp to be used to enter pitting line and exit pitting line (no pit on the track) ...to be completed by our safety specialist ![]() - Material Safety No driving counterwise Respect track (no short cut) Do not drive above possibilities ... to be completed Before the race : Race instruction briefing : Starting procedure explaination Each driver to start his car himself for equality reason in case of flame out Blue flag rule (even if we don't have flag )Fairplay rules ... to be completed |

One hour is ok for me (if not too cold like last week
)I baught horn yesterday to be use to improve our starting procedure.hope this will work. |
