One thing good about brushless motors is their very low maintenance. But from time to time it's good to take them apart and do some maintaining and cleaning.
I know this is a walk in the park for most, but some people are still a little intimidated by the thought of disassembling an expensive motor. I put together a walk-through with pictures to help. Clean and Maintain a Brushless Motor * |

Yes, the motor maintenance is the key. Can't have iron into, can not have the clay into. Bearing replacement should choose high-speed bearing.
