Default savage xs esc problem

aright guy and girls i have had my hpi savage xs since Christmas 2011 and in january the first esc went it too hpi a little over a month to replace it that esc lasted about a month they last night i went to my lhs and went out on a wim and bought another hpi vapor without the fan. plugged it in and thought everything was good. went to use it at a close parking lot and it lasted 5 minutes just stopped . i hear the esc making a buzzing sound when i hit the throtle and the motor want to move cause i can hear the gears move for about a second.

i want to replace the whole system plz send me some suggestions. i want it to still go fast and have some good torque

thanks, mike

alright i got good news i drop hpi crap and now installed a traxxas vxl3s gives roughly thhe same speed iwent out a bought the cooling fan to cauuse this truck weighs alot and i figure the more cooling power the better in the long run. i also had to buy a new battery oynx 2s 25c 4000mah cause the one i have sucks a venom 2s 20c 4000 which i believe to be one its death bed cause it only charges to 2500mah after i get low voltage cut off. i get about 20 minutes of run time. now all i have to do is send both hpi's esc's back for repair or replacement and either sell them or i might just put the system in my tamiya lunchbox for shits and giggles lol.

sounds good. the traxxas ones are nice because they're waterproof. I love being able to drive my rustler through snow piles and when I take the body off, the chasis is full of snow, but it still works fine!!!
