motor temps are in the 130-140 range after 3-4 back to back pulls...esc temps are much cooler...i think the design of this setup is very efficient for its size....the motor itself isnt an actual 540 sized can...its more like a 380 with cooling fins built into the exterior that give it the appearance of a larger unit.....I am hoping to have a "Real" 540 motor with a higher KV rating very soon to test with....im steering towards the 5700kv or 7700kv mamba...the extra rpms from either unit will translate to sizable gains in speed.....

Your almost there! great job. I was thinking of trying to push my nitro 4tech as fast as it could go, but I dont have any room for that. I run out of lane the way it is. Congrats to getting to where you are now. I'm very impressed.

The BSR wheels have arrived!...thank you John!
these are the "S" series (2.44") Blue compound HEW's (Velodrome rated).....these puppies are HARD!...and seem very closely balanced...no more exploding rubber tires....lol... ...hope to have some new numbers this weekend! -Jack Last edited by BoostCrzy; 03-26-2009 at 12:03 AM. |

testing with BSR's and 5700kv mamba motor today netted a new best!... 99.4mph!!....so close to 100 i can TASTE it....
![]() ...the tires were very slippery though....i am curious to see how they react as they wear in...I will also be redesigning the vertical stabilizers....
