What do you think would be a better choice a jato 3.3 or the nitro 4 tec
i was looking for a car with a little more speed but i could still run it in the neighborhood

personally if you are just running it on streets and in parking lots, the Jato is a better way to go, with even the smallest pebble the 4tec gets squirrly..... now if you have a nice CLEAN surface in mind, then the 4TEC, it's all an issue of ground clearance when running on different kinds of hard surfaces and how big debris could be ,...if any

moto's right. i have the older version of the 4-tec and it rips,( 60 mph advertised ), but my brother just HAD to get the newer version, the one that does 70+ and it "IS" as advertised after i broke it in i ran it for him ( 'cos he's an m.t. kinda guy and not used to cars. ) i ran 2 city blocks in just over 3 seconds. hitting street stones at that kind of speed definatly gets the pucker factor in the upper range. the steering is sensitive just like moto said, but i think when you get used to it, it'll make you a better driver in the long haul. the jato will be quick too. you'll need to lower the squat and put some street meats on it. it controlls predictably and it'll even go fasterthan stock with the right putt and pipe in it. both are 3.3 versions and it's the same putt in both machines. ;) hey here's a thought, get both !!!
then again, if speed is your thing, shumacher fusion is what's insane. or, you can copy what i have, techno-kit tk-10 with an o.s. cvrx 15 mod. depends on yer bucko's there bud, and how much yer willing to do rebuilds at those speeds, LOL
( GAWD, I HATE MAILBOX POSTS, STOP SIGNS AND PHONE POLES lol, lol, lol. ):(

i will probably get the jato 3.3 it sounds better overall if i am just going to run it in the neighborhood
it still goes over 60 and that is fine for me
faster than the tmaxx 3.3

i was also looking at the hpi baja 5b v2.0
what do you think about that
is it overpriced for what you get

what do you think about that
i think you have a lot more money than me!,lol
but seriously, if you are just running in the neighborhood, the 5B would be about the worst thing you can buy..... those things are MONSTERS..... they need a LOT of room just to run, not to mention the noise, and safety factor......if somebody gets hit with a 1/10 nitro, they will have a huge bruise with possibly a broken leg bone
if somebody gets hit with a 5B....... reconstructive surgery and more chance of a massive lawsuit
now if you have the means to get out and away from all the public onlookers (espescially kids, they have NO concept of danger, they think they're toys and head right for them)...the 5B would be something to consider

If I were looking to drop the kind of cash you're talking about on a new RC I'd go Savage Flux all the way. I know there is def one in my future. It has enough power to do backflips from a stand still, and on 2 3s lipo packs you're looking at speeds over 60mph. All with the ease and convenience of an electric rig.

"backflips from a standstill" is over rated. How can you have fun on your lid? Revo's are the best all around MT on the market. And they make noise.:D

It wouldn't be a backflip if it landed on its lid. It lands back on its tires, and that's a testament to its raw power. Don't get me wrong I like the Revo, but it will never compare to a brushless 1/8th rig.
