I'm looking for a couple of suggestions here.

First, for parking lot bashing does anyone have a suggestion?
What tire can give me decent traction & long wear for an unprepared surface. I must say the tires that came w/ my NTC3 rtr didn't seem so hot.

How about for racing on a prepared surface? Which last longer, rubber or foam?

Thanks for any suggestions!

I waited for awhile to answer this post because I have not raced nitro in a parking lot for over a year, I was hoping someone with more recent experiance would answer, guess not so here goes.

When i ran a Traxxas 4tec pro on a cement parking lot I used the HPI X pattern 4490's. They seemed to give good traction and long life. I did use some V rages from the kit and wore them out in one race, great traction just no life.

Parking lots, unprepared, are uasully pretty grity so something with tread works better. If the parking lot is prepared and sealed you might be able to go back to a slick.

Don't know if this helps, but at least it is a start.

Hey WD did the X patterns work for you? Let us know, somebody else might be looking for the answer to their tire problem.
