Castle ESCs with DX3r - which framerate?

Hi Joe,

Thought I would kick off with a quick question about the framerate that the Castle ESC's (in particular the Mamba Max, and Mamba Monster controllers) can support.

On my DX3r, I can change the framerate setting between 16.5ms, 11ms and 5.5ms. I know some servos grumble when it comes to using the quicker framerates, and some just don't work at all. Can you tell me if any of those settings is liekly to cause any damage or give problems with your ESC's? I've not tested it on anything other than the 16.5ms setting yet, just in case there is the possibility of damage :)

Any will work with our controllers, but as you found, your servos may not like it. Our ESCs will only accept a max of 50Hz (not sure how that equates to Spektrum's #'s), but anything over that the refresh rate will increase, but not the response time of the ESC.
