I just ordered a reactor 20 discharger, then after the fact, read some reviews that say it's for 6-7 cells. A fact that integy does not state. I only use four cell packs. Did I waste my $$$?

Perhaps not....

Since they only warranty the unit for like 90 days.... I'll tell you that there is a little potentometer inside the unit that is used to set the cutoff voltage. The only reason it is only rated for 6 cells is the voltage cutoff. You can take the unit apart and adjust the cutoff voltage by using a volt meter and adjust the little "pot" to cutoff at 3.40volts for 4 cell use.
